Too Noisy stops responding to sound when using Google Chrome

A few customers have made us aware of an issue where the Too Noisy app stops responding to sound when using the Google Chrome web browser. This appears to be rare, but for this reason we recommend using Microsoft Edge, Firefox or Opera web browsers with Too Noisy until the issue can be resolved. We have no reported issues with any of these browsers.

Below are the download links for Firefox and Opera.  The Microsoft Edge browser is not available for download as it’s offered as built-in software in Windows 10. If you PC is running Windows 10 then you should already have it installed.

Firefox

Opera

If you can only run Google Chrome then please read the section below:

While running the Too Noisy Pro application in Google Chrome, if the microphone stops responding to sound, please try pressing the "Alt+d" keys down and then press the "Enter" key at the same time. This should open Too Noisy in a new tab with the microphone now responding to sound.

We hope the issue will be resolved in the near future, but for now this has proven to be a good workaround.

If you are using Google Chrome and wouldn't mind, could you please let us know if this workaround works for you?
